At Amber’s Cafe, you can eat-in with us for breaky from 8 am, pop in and have a snack & a milkshake after you get the kids from school or browse our menu and dine in for lunch with us.
Amber’s café is open 6 days a week for dine-in, plus we service and support our local businesses, schools, and community members daily by supplying professional catering for staff lunches, conferences, formal, informal, and private events (nothing is too big or too small!).

In around 2006, I discovered I got a kick out of being the wedding and birthday cake maker of my friend and family group, word got out, and it did not take too long until I became known as ‘Amber the cake lady’ all around town. It appears, I was good at this! Soon I registered the ‘Ambers Creative Cakes ABN’, thinking this would be a side-gig… little did I know that ‘gig’ would lead me to where me and my successful businesses are today.
I make memorable moments with the sweeter things in life (like cake and icing…) I am a self-taught, and now well-practised cake decorator. I first dove into my love for food, and at the age of 16, I completed my trade qualification in cookery becoming a chef all those years ago. Having years and a vast experience makes running a busy Café and thriving Cake business something I enjoy. I love a challenge!
In 2018 I took the leap and opened my own Café with a space to expand my creative cake making business and to incorporate event catering into the mix.
I named my cake making business ‘Amber’s Creative Cakes’ as I am a creative person and it seemed fitting. You hear the word cake, and picture eating it, I picture designing and creating an edible work of art.
I love nothing more than creating unforgettable indulgences for Weddings, Birthdays and Special Celebrations while hearing locals enjoy our homey café food and vibe.
Our popular grazing boxes and grazing tables are a wonderful choice for you and your guests to nibble on delicious foods at your next event or function, while being pleasing on the eye. Presenting food in creative artistic ways is a chef dream and entertaining you and your guests is something we specialise in at Ambers.
Personalised cookies are a thing that we do, the poo emojis and unicorns are a favourite with the kids, funny one-liners or a heart shape and a loved one’s name are a popular choice for a quick and fun gift.
